Institute of Education UCL graduates

Reconnect in partnership with Computer Aid International and working with UCL Institute of Education is providing a unique preparatory programme to refugees and asylum seekers wishing to enrol into higher education and or to participate in a Teacher Training (PGCE) programme at UCL Institute of Education – a world-leading centre for research and teaching in education and Social Science. The programme will be run by a team of highly experienced academics and practitioners. The programme will cover fees, cost of travel and contribution to learning materials.

The programme timetable is designed to widen opportunities by providing a variety of choices. The programme will run over 10 weeks during the autumn, spring and summer terms (enrolment will be for one term only); each session will be 3 hours; there will be 3 cohorts, each of 20 students.

2018 Autumn Term Wednesdays, 10am to 1pm, from 26 September to 5 December
Excluding the week commencing 22nd October (half term)

2019 Spring Term Thursdays, 1pm to 4pm, from 10 January to 21 March
Excluding the week commencing 18th February (half term)

2019 Summer Term Wednesdays, 6pm to 9pm, from 24 April to 26 June

Those wishing to enrol on the programme are invited to attend one of the following open evenings/ Information sessions at Reconnect, Resource for London, 365 Holloway Road, London N7 6PA. Members of staff from UCL Institute of Education will provide detailed information on the programme:
