Across the pond in the United Kingdom this week, pop singer Rita Ora is surely celebrating, as her latest single “Let Me Love You” has risen the ranks and settled at No. 6, giving her another hit to her credit. While she is likely happy whenever that happens, this time it means more to her, as by landing yet another top 10 single, she has made history and passed some of the most beloved artists in the country.
“Let Me Love You” is Ora’s thirteenth top 10, which now stands as the most top 10s any solo female act has been able to rack up since the Official Charts Company began compiling the ranking decades ago. According to the outlet, Ora has now passed two legends—Petula Clark and Shirley Bassey—to become the woman with the most top 10s under her own name.
