Wizz Air launched its latest service from the UK on 19 April, a 1,912-kilometre link between London Luton (LTN) and Tirana (TIA).

It was supposed to be a budget airline but try and book a flight during summer holidays for Tirana or Prishtina and you will see that these destinations are the most expensive ones from almost all Wizz Air destinations.

For example a trip for a family of four to Tirana from London, traveling on 24 July and coming back on 23 August 2018, will cost you £2335!

This is how some other flights, for the same period, compare:

Prague £559.92
Split £983.92
Belgrade £1,199.92
Bucharest £1,199.92
Burgas Bulgaria £1599.92
Israel £1599.92
Varna, Bulgaria  £1767.92
Skopje £1,935.92
Cyprus Larnaca £2,103.92
Prishtina £2,103.92

Just for comparison, if you go by car to either Kosovo or Albania it will cost you around £1000, more than 60% cheaper than going by WizzAir there.
