On 16th January, British-Albanian Lawyers Association organised a brilliant evening, celebrating 3 years as an organisation with their colleagues, friends and supporters.
BALA’s chair Brikena Muharremi wrote this on the association’s Facebook page: “3 years have flown by really fast! During this time we have worked with the most incredible and inspiring lawyers who have been speakers at our events and through which work we hope we have inspired lawyers, aspiring lawyers and others.
We thank Bolt Burdon Solicitors for hosting the event and for their hospitality and generosity. They provided the venue, drinks and delicious food at no cost to BALA. We also thank Sofia Bugaqku, a non-lawyer and a BALA friend, who brought to the event the music band, Armend Fejzullahu and the Jet Set, again, at no cost to BALA. The band played amazing music, which made our evening really special. We were also honoured by the presence of John Grogan MP, member of UK Parliament and chair of the All Party Parliamentary Groups for Kosovo and Albania. We thank Mr Grogan for joining us and for his encouraging words for BALA.
It is because of the support of our colleagues and friends both within and outside the legal profession that we are able to do what we do and are motivated to continue our mission as BALA. We look forward to continuing our work as an organisation and to seeing you at our events.”
