West Bromwich Albion have reportedly taken talented youngster Mergim Qarri.

Qarri is a 20-year-old Swiss with Kosovan heritage.

Qarri started out with Swiss third tier side Servette FC before moving to England where he is thought to have spent time on the books of Aldershot Town and Wealdstone.

Right-footed, Qarri appears as though he can play anywhere in the midfield, but looks at home in a ‘number 10’ role behind a striker or two.

He has excellent balance, can switch feet very quickly and is a strong finisher.

Technically he is extremely accomplished, but also has the vision and ability to pick out imaginative passes in a match setting.

Inventive on the ball, he’s also happy to play it simple and retain possession.
