Rita Ora which scored her fourth No 1 single recently, making her one of the most successful British hit-makers of all time, apart from singing, acting and modelling she has another passion – flowers.
She is planning to diversify her talents and open her own horticulture shops. She says “I love flower arranging – it’s so relaxing”
She has a new No. 1 single, a part in a Hollywood film and lucrative fashion contracts. What more could Rita Ora want? A chain of florists, actually.
The 23 years old British Albanian singer, plans to open her own horticultural shops as her next unusual business venture.
She says enthusiastically: “I want to own flower shops, I love flowers. I love organising them and I love flower arranging – it’s so relaxing. You cut, you rip, you zip.”
It wouldn’t be the strangest acquisition for the canny star. As well as starting a global property empire, with houses in the UK, the US and her native Kosovo, she already owns an entire Kosovan football team as part of her company, Ora Multi Services.
Keeping it in the family, sister Elena runs the firm, which raked in £1million last year.
Her footie team are yet to kick a ball but she intends to promote the sport in Kosovo, which she fled in 1991 before war broke out.
She says: “It’s so funny because the football team I own haven’t started playing yet. We’ve just got independence and they don’t have a proper football team. I don’t know the first thing about football. But the people who are going to work for it do.”
