Ornela Peka

Ornela Peka is a young female film director who was born in a small town called Krume, in the Mediterranean country of Albania. She moved to London as a refugee when she was five years old with her parents and her three sisters. Soon after that they settled into the city and her family were granted citizenship to remain in the UK. From a very early age Ornela knew she wanted to make films that would one day change the world. She went from studying theatre and film, combined with English, which eventually led her to a Bachelorette Honours degree in film production, where she is currently in her final year at Regents University. Since then she has produced and directed a vast amount of content, varying from short films, commercials, promotional videos and fashion runway shows. She has also participated in film development workshops all over Europe.
