Get the chance to have your news article or photograph published in the Metro, reaching over 1 million readers across the UK!
media4us is a new project focussed on tackling discrimination and negative attitudes towards migrants in the media. The overall aims of the project are to enhance the public’s view on migration and strengthen the voice of migrants and migrant journalists.
Through the publication of news media online and in print, media4us will highlight the work of journalists from migrant backgrounds as well as all journalists reporting more accurately on topics relating to migrants.
The media4us website will be launching this spring, so we are currently calling on journalists and citizen journalists to submit news articles, photos, video or other content for publication. A selection of news articles submitted to the website will also be published in a special insert in the Metro in autumn 2012. We will also be running a photo competition with the winning photo also appearing in the Metro.
Help make migrants’ participation and contributions to society more visible. Get your voice heard through media4us.
media4us is a new European-wide project coordinated in the UK by the Migrants Resource Centre.
