Eki Rrahmani is an Albanian director from Pristina who lives in London and works for Al Jazeera. One of the programmes that Eki Rrahhmani edited for Al Jazeera English – Libya: Through the Fire – made by Abdallah Omeish – won the Rory Peck Award for Features two days ago.
This documentary is about first days of Libyan Revolution and about a young man called Mohamad Nabouss, who worked as a citizen journalist and spread the truth about what was going on in Benghazi before he was killed.
At the moment this film is most important episode of Al Jazeera’s Arab Awakening series.
The first episode of these series was done by Rageeh Omar, and the Libyan episode was created by Eki Rrahmani and a Abdallah Omeish.
