Help us fundraise for the treatment of Florio Kazazi and show our support for young people during the half term holidays.
The British Albanian Kosovar Council is hosting a fundraising event on Wednesday 26th October. The evening will be held at Qeens Arms, from 7.00pm and will raise funds for the treatment of Florio Kazazi, a young man known by many in the community, who is suffering from a rare form of bone cancer. Tickets will be available on the door for a donation of your choice, whatever you can afford.
The event will also introduce KAYAV, – Kosovar Albanian Youth Against Violence- a new campaign created with young people to tackle the threats of crime, violence and gangs facing young people in the community. The campaign was created in response to negative press reports around gang violence on Kosova Independence Day, and is even more important following the reports of young people involved in this year’s London riots.
One of the young people involved will briefly talk about the campaign and how people can get involved in creating a more positive future for young people.
WE CAN DO BETTER
WE HAVE NO TIME FOR CRIME
WE OPPOSE ALL FORMS OF VIOLENCE IN THE COMMUNITY
So please come along on the 26th, tell all your friends and bring your family and be part of a new future.
