“Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.” In this psychological short thriller, it is the last part of the quote that manifests. Shpat, the main character, is subject to an archaic honour code, that has already taken the lives of his father and brothers. Tradition and code of honour demand that he must avenge his loss irrespective of sacrifices that have to be made to achieve it and borders that have to be crossed. He has now come of age. The age where greatness awaits. The age of The Orders.
Silent Shout Studios (London, England) is hosting a private screening of ‘The Orders’ (Urdhërat), an Albanian dramatic thriller about a family blood feud. Inspired by real life events it follows a young boy’s journey away from home in search of redemption.
