Tom, Dick and Harry, a farce that is performed in Bundaberg’s Playhouse Theatre in Australia, has given the Bundaberg Players cast a new appreciation for the acting technique.
The fast-paced comedy tells the story of a horrifically bad day for Tom, who is supposed to be meeting with the adoption agency with his wife, Linda.
But what was to be the best day of his life soon turns to the day from hell, thanks to his hapless brothers, Dick and Harry, and two illegal immigrants from Kosovo.
Davis, 31, who plays Kosovan refugee Katerina, had to learn Albanian for her role.
“The script has made it easy for me, though,” she said.
“It’s been written phonetically, then it has the translation to English and then it has the actual Albanian.”
