Hours after terrorist attacks in France that has caused at least 150 victims, Albania’s: President Bujar Nishani, Prime Minister Edi Rama, the head of the Parliament Ilir Meta and Kosovo’s counterparts expressed their support to France.
Edi Rama posted in French a message through which he considered Paris terrorist attacks as a real war: “Support to the French government in this moment of horror and sorrow”, he wrote on Twitter.
President Bujar Nishani said that attacks have deeply shocked Albanians, and all Albanian nation express their condolences to the families of the victims.
Nishani said that these are barbaric attacks that aim to frighten not only France and the French people, but the whole democratic world. And while the State Police in Albania is being more cautious after last night’s attacks, Nishani called the head of the secret service to discuss the situation in the country and abroad.
Also the Parliament’s speaker, Ilir Meta said that Albanians are shocked about what happened in Paris. “We all support you in these critical moments. Albania stands next to France to defend the universal values of democracy that unite us. Terrorists can not affect the freedom and the values of French society” said Meta in his message. /albeu.com/
