Yesterday, at the premises of Embassy of Kosova in London, was launched The British-Albanian Lawyers Association (BALA).
British-Albanian Lawyers Association was officially launched under the patronage of the Kosovo Ambassador to the UK and in the presence of lawyers, law students, law graduates and other members of the community.
The British-Albanian Lawyers Association aims to foster co-operation between British and Albanian lawyers based in the United Kingdom, Albania and Kosovo. They aim to advance the knowledge of law and public education and training in the practice of law. They further aim to promote access to justice and the Rule of Law and develop, as well as strengthen, the legal, business and cultural links between lawyers in the United Kingdom, Albania and Kosovo.
BALA plan to achieve these goals by organising professional and social events and by providing a forum where information about legal developments, legal events and opportunities can be shared by members.
